The Lake Traverse Animal Rezcue often gets animals that need emergency vet care. Not long ago, we received a call from our vet clinic about a cat that the owner wanted to euthanize, because they could not afford surgery for her. The vet said they would contact us to see if we would take her in.
Tubbers is a sweet 3 year old cat. She had a bad break in her one of her hind legs - two fractures actually and her hip came out of it's socke! Even with these injuries, she was an amazing cat and loved everyone. We couldn't let her die. She ended up seeing a special orthopedic surgeon, which cost $700. LTAR has no income other than donations and fundraising, so your help is critical in allowing us to continue to provide emergency vetting for animals in need.
