The Round Lake Brewster 8th grade classes have been raising funds for their Washington D.C. field trip during the past three years. This year will be our fourth year. This educational experience will always be a memorable event in their school career. Not only do the students learn about their country in civics and social studies classes, but they actually get to experience it.
The students in the past have stayed four nights in D.C. and have had packed days visiting Arlington Cemetery, the National Mall, the U.S. Capitol, some of the Smithsonian Museums, Ford's Theater, the Holocaust Museum, and visiting Mount Vernon.
We appreciate the support of our families, friends, and relatives and the school community for making this experience available.
